Junior athletes from Port Shepstone Islamic School competed against a host of schools at the Association of Muslim Schools Junior Athletics meeting held at the famous Kings Park Athletic Stadium last Saturday.
Muhammad Jungitoo leapt into action winning silver in both high jump and shot putt events. Talha Hakim was quick to secure his bronze medal in the 200m dash while Aadil Saeed came home with a photo-finish bronze medal.
The squad is congratulated for their sportsmanship and the competitive spirit throughout the event.
Foundation Phase learners welcomed the new season by springing into fitness with a fun walk.
Learners are wished well for the remaining assessments. Parents are reminded about the end of term consultation taking place on Friday, September 29.
