Hibiscus Primary holds career day

Guest speakers shared insights about their career paths, available opportunities as well as challenges in their fields.

Hibiscus Primary School held their annual career day for Grade 7 learners recently.

Learners dressed in the uniform of their desired profession which saw a diverse representation of career fields such as doctors, lawyers, paramedics, firefighters soccer players and even a pilot.

Experienced professionals from different career fields were invited as guest speakers, to inspire learners to share their knowledge and experience. The guest panel included Tasheel … (mechanical engineer), David Lukwago (doctor), Deon Zuider (fashion designer) and Zama Mkhize (culinary chef).

The speakers shared insights about their career paths, available opportunities as well as challenges in their fields. The presentations were well received by the learners who showed interest and engaged with the guest speakers.
Learners were left inspired and knowledgeable about the various career paths they can pursue.
