PS Islamic observes flourishing biomes

Learners and educators visited the Red Desert, the grasslands in Umtamvuna and the Mpenjati estuary.

Educators of the Life Science faculty at Port Shepstone Islamic School accompanied Grade 10 learners on a field trip, to observe the various flourishing biomes on the magnificent South Coast last week.

The outing included visits to the Red Desert, the grasslands in Umtamvuna and the Mpenjati estuary.
Also, budding orators from various schools convened at the Association of Muslim Schools Junior Elocution held a fortnight ago in Durban. Aarifa Khamissa, Muhammed Karodia and Muhammad Jagot are commended for their eloquent presentations.

Grade 12 learners are also wished well over their penultimate examination at this institute.
