Puma House wins Marburg Primary’s athletics meet
The event was blessed with wonderful weather and there was a strong turnout of parents who supported the runners vociferously.
Puma House won the 2023 inter-house athletics meeting at Marburg Primary School. This was the first athletics meeting after the Covid-19 pandemic.
Competition was close, but Puma determinedly finished first, ahead of Sable, Dolphin, and Eagle House respectively. The event was blessed with wonderful weather and there was a strong turnout of parents who supported the runners vociferously.
Even the fathers’ and mothers’ races drew tough competition. Over 20 fathers, and more than 45 mothers took part.
The principal thanked Rubendra Moodley for the smooth co-ordination and management of the entire sports, educational assistants, governing body, sponsors, parents, learners and staff members for their contribution towards a successful athletics meeting.
