Joyful cheers at Cornerstone’s first sports day

Team leaders all behaved with compassion and maturity in leading their teams in each event.

Cornerstone Learning Centre was proud to hold their first sports day last Thursday.
Joined by parents, gogos and grandpas, aunts and uncles, the sports field resounded with joyful cheers.
The children bravely completed a long distance race, egg and spoon race, sprints, and a sack race to the sounds of enthusiastic encouragement from the crowd.

The team leaders all behaved with compassion and maturity in leading their teams in each event. Principal, Tammy Smulders handed out medals, certificates, and ice lollies to all participants.

A wonderful day was had by all and the centre is proud of the athletes. Heartfelt thanks to educators and staff for the hard work, parents and families for their support, and of course the young sporting heroes.
