Busy times for Port Edward Primary

"The learners look very smart and were extremely proud to represent their school."

It has been a busy and exciting two weeks of winter sports fixtures for Port Edward Primary.

The U11 and U13 teams enjoyed mid-week fixtures against Creston for netball, rugby and hockey.

Various teams also attended Port Sheptone Senior Primary’s Winter Sports Day.

Thanks were extended to the schools for these well-organised, action-packed fixtures and events.

Sincere gratitude was also extended to local businesses, The Courier Guy and Beaver Creek Coffee, for the new hockey and rugby first team kit.

Huge thanks also to parent, Liezl Cumming, for arranging a successful bowls tournament at the end of last term, in order to raise funds for the first team netball kit.

Thank you to all in the Port Edward community for supporting this event. The learners look very smart and were extremely proud to represent their school.
