Port Edward Primary School held a Foundation Phase gala in the morning and the Senior Championship gala in the afternoon last Thursday.
We were extremely blessed that the bad weather held off, and that our parents and learners were able to enjoy an exciting day of swimming.
Four long-standing records were broken at the senior gala, by Emma Burger, Alina Dorè and Ange Dorè.
Congratulations to all our swimmers!
The school held a most successful ‘Captain’s Dinner and Dance’ fundraising event, at Port Edward Holiday Resort last Saturday.
We would like to thank the owners and staff of The Wreck restaurant for the delicious meal, and for all their organisation and support.
Thank you to the many local businesses, who sponsored raffle and auction prizes, as well as our wonderful community for supporting this special evening!
