Volleyball victory for Marburg Primary’s U14 boys

They won all seven matches on their way to beating Griffendore Primary in the Finals by two sets to nil.

Marbury Primary took part in the PSVA primary schools’ volleyball tournament recently.

Three of the teams reached the finals. The U12 boys and U12 girls narrowly lost their respective finals over three sets.
The U14 boys was the outstanding team on the day. They won all seven matches on their way to beating Griffendore Primary in the finals by two sets to nil.

Led by captain Mon-Ray Sampson, the boys played stunning volleyball and impressed everyone. Other outstanding players were Sashen Pillay and Nishaylin Govender.
