Sheppie High is runner-up in volleyball tournament

The School Governing Body has welcomed a number of new parents and educators into various positions.

What a phenomenal year it has been so far, and Port Shepstone High School has been extremely busy with academic, cultural and sporting activities.

The volleyball teams participated in the local schools’ volleyball tournament hosted by the Port Shepstone Volleyball Association in Marburg last Saturday.

Sheppie High entered four teams, and the senior boys placed second in their division, and the school placed second out of the five schools in the overall tournament.

The school’s governing body has welcomed a number of new parents and educators into various positions. The new office bearers are: Chairman – N Klusener, Deputy chair – S Mpondo, Treasurer – R Koekemoer and Secretary – Y Theunissen.

Give a Child a Family and the Port Shepstone Youth Desk addressed learners on a wide range of pertinent topics; such as behaviour management, body shaming, harassment, sexual harassment and respect.
