Levi house wins Southcity’s junior gala

Levi was the winning house with 172 points, second was Judah with 136 points and third was Asher with 129 points.

Southcity Christian Schools Junior Primary inter-house gala was held recently.

The first half of the gala consisted of fun events, the parents cheered and supported their children as they participated in the pool noodle and kicker board races.

We are very proud of the children who participated in the competitive events. Levi was the winning house with 172 points, second was Judah with 136 points and third was Asher with 129 points.

The grade winners are:
Grade 1: Eden Hannaway (girls) and Mason Knott (boys); Grade 2: Hannah Aboulilah (girls) and Iwan-Juan Potgieter (boys); Grade 3: Victrix Ludorum – Khayone Sigaba and Victor Ludorum – Hanco Van Der Westhuizen.

Seven Southcity Christian Schools college boys have been selected for the SKZN U15 and U16 cricket sides. They are (back, from left) Grant Lansdell (U16), Matthew Michau (U16), Cameron Olivant (U15), Luyolo Goqwana (U15), with Michael Sterling (U15), Sthembile Hlulani (U16), Hercue De Bruin (U15) and John Greyson (U15).
