Izotsha looks forward to hosting high school fair

The Grade 7 classes are busy preparing for their Valentine’s Day fundraiser to be held on February 14.

The week got off to a good start at Izotsha Primary School, beginning with a whole school assembly from Grades 1 to 7.
World Read Aloud Day last Wednesday began with a shared reading period.

There was a delightful atmosphere throughout the school, with pairs of readers of different age groups scattered around, reading to one another.
Each learner made enormous effort to read their absolute best to their paired partners.

Sport and extra-curricular activities began in earnest with good learner attendance.

The Intermediate and Senior Phase inter-house long and short distance galas took place.

The school is looking forward to hosting the traditional high school fair once again.

Covid 19 restrictions hampered this annual event from taking place over the past two years. The event will be held on Thursday, February 23 from 17:00 to 19:00 in the school sports hall.

A number of schools from throughout KZN will be displaying and marketing their wares. All Grade 6 and 7 learners and their parents are invited to attend.
