Hlanganani Prep learns about caring for animals

Some pertinent questions were raised by the learners.

Lower South Coast SPCA representatives paid a visit to Hlanganani Preparatory School. Learners were taught about animal hygiene and pet safety.

The concerning issue of ‘qhatha’ which is the IsiZulu term for animal beating or gambling, whereby dogs are taken to fight each other in exchange for money was raised.

Both educators and learners are now equipped with knowledge about animal safety and anticipate future visits from the SPCA.
