Merlewood Primary in a spin over table tennis

It's quite an honour for the young players.

Merlewood Primary School is extremely proud of its table tennis players. The school recently took part in an inter-school table tennis selection tournament at St Martin de Porres School

From this, five of the school’s learners were selected to represent Ugu district in the U14 age group, boys and girls, at an upcoming selection tournament to be held in Durban this weekend.

They are Samkelisiwe Ntshangase, Halala Dlamini, Quindell Jaftha, Tsepo Mkhonde and Olwandle Mchunu.

The players were trained by coach Devi Govender and assistant coach Mike Masson. They are wished well at the tournament.
