Busy sporting week for Izotsha
Thank you to both parents and staff who accompanied the pupils.
Izotsha Primary‘s Intermediate and Senior Phase learners have been preparing for and participating in heats for the upcoming inter-house athletics event.
The field events took place yesterday (Wednesday) and the track events are this Friday (19th).
Six mixed teams of Grade 4 to 7 learners participated in the Redefine Recycled Materials Arts and Craft competition held at the Southcoast Mall last Saturday.
The aim was to create artworks using recyclable materials that illustrated the harm that pollution does to the ocean.
All the groups planned their work meticulously and had good end products of which they were proud. The teamwork among the groups was most commendable.
The school welcomes Marion Oates as the Foundation Phase Departmental Head.
She is wished many happy years at the school.
