Five injured in Shelly Beach crash

Three passengers were seriously injured, and two others sustained significant injuries.

KwaZulu Private Ambulance Service responded to a collision on Marine Drive in Shelly Beach earlier this morning.

Spokesperson, Craig Botha said a taxi and car collided, the taxi lost control and veered off the road and crashed into a tree, the impact sent the vehicle careening into a nearby wall.

“Emergency responders arrived to find a scene of devastation. Three passengers were seriously injured, and two others sustained significant injuries, requiring immediate medical attention.”

Paramedics worked to stabilise the patients, providing treatment on the scene before transporting them to a nearby hospital.
