Four dead, 26 injured in N2 bus crash near Sea Park

Seven people were critically injured, five sustained serious injuries and 14 more had minor injuries.

Four people died in a bus crash on the N2, between Port Shepstone and Hibberdene earlier today.

The bus, carrying passengers, lost control and rolled approximately 30 metres down an embankment.

Seven people were critically injured and required immediate medical attention, five sustained serious injuries and 14 more had minor injuries.

KwaZulu Private Ambulance paramedics, together with rescue crews from Ray Nkonyeni Fire and Rescue, IMART Specialised Rescue and Saps Search and Rescue worked tirelessly to remove survivors from the wreckage and stabilise them.

The injured have been transported to various hospitals for further care.

Authorities are on scene investigating the cause of the incident.
