Woman shot dead in Margate, allegedly by policeman boyfriend
Official comment from the police is still awaited.
A woman was shot dead in Margate yesterday morning (Sunday), allegedly by her policeman boyfriend, who is a member of the Port Shepstone Public Order Policing unit.
The policeman is then suspected to have fled the scene in a vehicle, but became involved in an accident with a truck.
He was injured and is now in hospital, the extent of his injuries unknown.
His name is known to the South Coast Herald, but has not yet been published. No arrests have been made yet.
Official police comment is awaited.
