A new whiskey and cigar lounge, Die Local Lounge, opened in Southport recently.
Owner of the lounge, Roman Mason, said the establishment is aimed at comfort, craft beers, and people trying different options.
Mason said it is not a regular bar.
He described it as more of an establishment where people can relax and calm their minds.
“You can sit and have a cigar. Although anyone is welcome, the whiskey lounge is open to people aged 18 and above,” he said.
He added that they plan to do a lot of alcohol tastings, such as gin and craft beer.
“We aim to have a variety of liquor so that it will be easier for people to try things they have never tried before,” he said.
