New satellite Rotary club in the works
The team also handed over a new wheelchair to the local hospice house.
Rotarian Greg Cryer (past district governor – District 9370) recently moved into Widenham Retirement Village and decided that he would like to bring like-minded people together for community work in Umkomaas.
He called for a meeting with all interested people to start a satellite Rotary Club in Widenham. Everyone had a chance to catch up with old friends while planning big things for the future.
Charlie Panday, from the Rotary Club of Chatsworth, was also present and stated that after their first meeting, there is great interest in the satellite club.
The team also handed over a new wheelchair to the local hospice house.
