Walk in the Wild to raise funds for CROW

The 5km walk will take you through the magnificent Kenneth Stainbank Reserve.

Now is your chance to step up for wildlife.

The Centre for Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) will be hosting the annual Walk in the Wild event on Sunday, August 25.

All nature lovers, families, athletes and volunteers are invited to support the 5km walk in the Kenneth Stainbank Nature Reserve in Yellowwood Park, Durban, to help raise crucial funds in support of CROW’s rehabilitation efforts.

The 5km walk will take you through the magnificent reserve, which offers a unique opportunity for participants to connect with nature, meet like-minded people and have a lot of fun while contributing to a noble cause.

Director of CROW, Clint Halkett-Siddall, said the funds raised will be directly allocated to CROW, which plays a crucial role in the rescue, rehabilitation and release of distressed wildlife.

“CROW is a non-profit organisation that relies on donations and community support to continue its vital work,” he said.

A throwback to CROW’s event last year where 550 people took part. This year, CROW is stepping it up with a new route featuring better scenery.
