Umkomaas Primary is delighted to announce the grand opening of the Gary Moodley Multipurpose Sports Centre recently.

This state-of-the-art facility represents a significant milestone in the school’s 111 year history, underscoring its commitment to nurturing talent and fostering community engagement.

The ceremony commenced with a captivating dance performance by the learners.

The event was honoured by the presence of various esteemed guests, including local dignitaries, community leaders and key contributors who played crucial roles in bringing this project to life.

The new facility is designed to accommodate a wide range of sports, including cricket, soccer, netball and hockey. It aims to provide a platform for both learners and community members to develop their athletic skills, participate in sporting academies and engage in healthy recreational activities.
