Hospice applauds women

Khanya Hospice relies heavily on women in the home-based care sphere and hospice shops as well.

Neil McDonald of Umkomaas’s Khanya Hospice joined the Radio Hindvani team recently to wish all women a Happy Women’s Day for today.

He decided to spread some love to the team and give back by taking them some treats to thank them for the work they do.

McDonald stated that he recognises the work that women are doing and the role they play in society today.

“Women are daughters, sisters, mothers, wives, partners, and the list goes on,” he said.

“We are particularly thankful for the role that women are playing in the health sector, such as with the hospice movement.”

He added that Khanya Hospice relies heavily on women in the home-based care sphere and hospice shops as well.

“On this day and always, we honour and thank women for their wonderful and selfless contributions.”
