Art enthusiasts at Widenham Retirement Village have been given the opportunity to allow their creativity to run wild, thanks to a weekly art club.
This club is being held at the village’s community centre every Thursday.
A recent session saw participants delve into the delicate art of pastels, capturing the beauty of white flowers with impressive skill and passion.
The sense of camaraderie and mutual support is perceptible, making each session a highlight of the week for many of the residents.
“The Art Club at Widenham is more than an educational experience,” said Jean Taylor, resident art teacher.
“It’s a community, a place where friendships blossom as easily as the artwork, where ideas are shared, and inspiration is found in every stroke of the brush.”
