Priest no longer linked to temple

The executive committee of the temple is in the process of engaging a new resident priest.

The Port Shepstone and District Tamil Association wishes to notify the public that its resident priest is no longer associated with the temple.

The trustees and the council of the Port Shepstone and District Tamil Association express sincere apologies to the members of the public for any inconvenience caused.

The Chairperson of the association, Sarge Kistasamy, said: “We remain committed to ensuring that all services and prayers resume in due course as the process of engaging a new resident priest is already at an advanced stage. We do apologise to all our members and the public in general for any inconvenience caused.”

Numerous attempts were made to contact the resident priest for comment but to no avail.

In the meantime, anyone seeking or wishing to make an enquiry can contact Sarge Kistasamy on 071 2906913 or the secretary Radha Moodley on 071 4835568.
