Six women from the South Coast shone brightly at this year’s glamourous Influential Women and Artes Awards 2024 ceremony at the Sibaya Theatre in Umhlanga recently.

Pretorius of Oslo Beach was acknowledged for her gift to empower and transform people.

She was announced as the Influential Women’s brand ambassador, a top award, as she has been nominated as an influential woman in South Africa for five consecutive years.

A proud Pretorius said she has dedicated her career and life to empowerment and transformation through leadership and connection.

She said she works daily to mentor the future leaders in SA and train executives and teams for peak performance.

“I advocate for the importance of mental wellness in SA and enjoy coaching individuals to snap out of auto-pilot right into their potential to experience peace and joy and to discover their purpose in life. This is what I am doing passionately with every breath I take since I arrived in Oslo Beach four years ago, to polish the gems of the coast to 24-karat quality through mentorship and training programmes.”

Organiser of the event, Pinky Mothie, said the event was an astounding success with 34 top powerhouse Influential Women honoured for their credentials, making a substantial difference in the community, and bringing pride to SA.

“Influential Women is one of the biggest women empowerment initiatives where Big M Production honours 100 women annually from all walks of life,” said Mothie.
