Port Edward stands a chance to win

Voting closes on Friday, July 19, at 12:00, so vote now!

Port Edward is buzzing with excitement after the town was announced as the KZN winner of Kwêla’s 2024 Town of the Year competition.

“Port Edward is in it to win it, and we are going all out to get people to vote for us for the national round of the contest,” says Port Edward Kwêla committee member Dave Watson.

“Please cast your votes! The entire South Coast will benefit if Port Edward emerges as the national winner of the competition. It will draw scores of visitors to the area and give the economy a much-needed injection.”

To encourage voting, the town’s businesses have generously sponsored exciting prizes to get South Coasters to support Port Edward in its race to the finish.

“We have made it very easy to enter our voters’ competition,” says Watson.

All you have to do is:

* Vote by sending up to 30 SMSes to 33157 with the text ‘Port Edward’. Make sure to keep evidence of the SMS votes sent for the draw should you win a prize.

* After sending your votes (SMSes) to 33157, then click on the link below (for online) or scan the QR code (for print) to enter this fantastic competition to stand a chance to win a prize!

* Voting closes on Friday, July 19, at 12:00, so vote now!

The Red Desert Nature Reserve is a 180ha property in the Port Edward region.

* Prizes can only be claimed if Port Edward is announced as the national Town of the Year winner.
