Hospice patients receive winter goodies

Hospice staff are grateful for the knit-a-thon initiative.

A group of women recently united for a knit-a-thon for hospice.

They came from different areas with their wool and knitting needles to help Khanya Hospice and participate in this fun initiative.

“What a wonderful way to support the community and the patients of hospice,” said CEO Neil McDonald.

“Our patients were delighted to get some of the most beautiful hand-knitted blankets. We also received knitted dolls.”

The dolls will be on sale at the hospice shops.
