Welfare receives generous donation

Making a difference to a child’s life brings a smile to the receiver and donor. Last Saturday, Child Welfare South Africa (CWSA) Margate received a donation of R5 000 from Expro Hollywoodbets – Friends through Sports.

The sponsorship was secured by Johnny Louch, who runs the charity Expro Friends through Sports, a community-driven organisation, to donate toys to children.

“We opted for CWSA and wish we had more to contribute, however, we need the support of the community and businesses. This is just the start, and by working together, we can do more to support children,” said Louch.

CWSA’s office manager, Mandy Erasmus said: “We thank Expro for the generous donation as every contribution is for a worthy cause.”

The organisation’s priority is to extend the reach of its work to achieve all it can for the children who need it the most, with its core function being the protection of children.
