16 people left injured after taxi, car and truck carrying flour crash near Izingolweni [WATCH]

Traffic was backed up for miles.

Sixteen people were injured in a collision involving a truck, taxi and car near Izingolweni on the N2 this afternoon, shortly before 15:00.

There was flour everywhere on the accident scene. PHOTO BY MED-EVAC.

This was according to Med-Evac Emergency Services, who said paramedics treated injuries ranging from minor to moderate.

The driver of the taxi was entrapped, and had to extricated.

KwaZulu Private ambulance said the injured were treated on the scene before being transported to the hospital.
