Fun for all at nature reserve

Proceeds of this event will go towards the upkeep of the TC Robertson Nature Reserve.

TC Robertson Nature Reserve celebrated its reopening to the public after much-needed maintenance and gaining new management with a Family Fun Day last Sunday.

This event helped increase the footprint at Scottburgh’s hidden gem, as well as raise funds as it is a non-profit public benefit organisation.

The Mongoose Tea Garden had many customers.

Stallholders were encouraged to sell homemade goods – this was to help small business owners and promote local talent, as well as keep the market unique.

Children also enjoyed an Easter egg hunt and face painting while the older folk relaxed in the tranquil reserve.

Gerda and Anton Faul, the new management, wish to thank all who supported their first fundraiser.

The next event at TC Robertson will be a Housewives Market Day on April 27.
