A message of hope

In its simplest form the message of Easter is one of new life and hope.

Matthew 12:20-21 (New Living Translation)
20 He will not crush the weakest reed or put out a flickering candle. Finally, He will cause justice to be victorious.
21 And His name will be the hope of all the world.

In its simplest form the message of Easter is one of new life and hope. But remember that on that first Good Friday the family and followers of Jesus witnessed the Roman governor making a politically expedient decision that had nothing to do with justice.

They witnessed the brutal beating to which He was subjected, they saw Him nailed to a cross and they watched Him die. His dead body was taken and laid in a tomb.

That is the story of Friday, but when Sunday dawned, Jesus rose from the dead!
This is our source of life and hope. He will not crush the weakest or most broken, nor extinguish the feeblest flame. He is concerned about the justice of your case. In His resurrection He triumphs over death, Satan and sin. His name brings hope for everyone in this world. You can find what you need by placing your faith in Him.
