Limited services at re-opened testing centre
The Umzinto Testing Centre temporarily closed in February.
Umdoni residents are informed that the Umzinto Testing Centre resumed operations as of Monday this week.
For the time being, only three services will be offered: renewal of driver’s licences, collection of driver’s licences and applications, and collection of professional driving permits.
Umdoni Municipality pleads with the community to exercise patience while the municipality, together with the Department of Transport, works towards the restoration of all services.
“Your patience and understanding are highly appreciated, and we do profusely apologise for any inconvenience caused,” said Sphelele Cele, Umdoni communications manager.

Communication will be duly issued once all services are reinstated.”
The centre temporarily closed in early February after the municipality stated operational issues were being looked into.
