Local man goes missing while swimming
Despite an extensive search the man has still not been found.
A man, believed to be a local, aged in his late 20s, went missing while swimming between Sunwich Port and Melville Beach last Friday around midday.
This comes after a teenager went missing while swimming at Mtwalume beach the day before. The 15-year-old remains missing.

The NSRI rescue craft JetRib, Rescue 20 Bravo, and the NSRI rescue craft Freemasons Way, were launched and joined the SA Police Services, Police Search and Rescue and Mi7 ambulance services on the scene.
Melody Herrmann, NSRI Shelly Beach duty controller, said that despite an extensive search there remains no signs of the missing man.
Police Search and Rescue are continuing in an ongoing search.
“Thoughts are with the family of the missing man in this difficult time,” said Hermann.
