Clothing store staff donates to hospice

Hospice is an NGO that relies on donations.

The staff of Yash Clothing in Umzinto ended their 2023 by recognising the kind and hard work done by the nursing staff of Khanya Hospice.

They decided to dig deep in their pockets and collect money for the Umkomaas based NGO.
Hospice staff were blown away by this gesture and happily received the R760 donation.

The NGO also recently received R700 from locals Sharon Singh and Subashinie Govender as part of a fundraising initiative.

“Once again, a massive thank you everyone who helps us in any way possible,” said Neil McDonald from Khanya Hospice.

“We are not government funded and rely heavily on kind people and businesses to donate to us. This helps us to be able to do what we do best – care for the terminally ill.”
