Margate Primary’s Licebo takes Dux award
Several learners were awarded at the year's final prize giving.
Margate Primary’s school year ended with the annual prize giving for both the junior and senior phases. These went off well with proud and appreciative parents and learners.
Grade R recited a little poem and the Grade 3s excellently told everyone that ‘they just cannot understand teachers’.
The senior choir was excellent and appreciated by the parents. The Dux of the school is Licebo Mbewana with Masimbonge Dukusa walking away with five awards.
Sports girl and boy are Thandolwethu Nkonyeni and Qhamani Sikutshwa respectively.
Most growth for the year is Khwezilomso Godlwana, the fellowship award went to Buyani Ndendeni and the personality award to Aphiwe Dindikazi. Well done to all those who received recognition for their efforts.
The school wishes all learners, parents and staff a happy, safe and enjoyable festive season.
