Residents tidy up Scottburgh

This was a Keep Scottburgh Beautiful operation.

Keep Scottburgh Beautiful is a local non-profit organisation made up of a team of residents, ratepayers and business owners who all strive to make a positive change in the town they call home.

Scottburgh Athletics Club members getting their hands dirty.

The team recently had a major clean up around the Scottburgh area, called Operation Beautification, where locals dedicated their Saturday to tidying up different parts of the town.
Skips were placed throughout the area to help the volunteers.

Sharnell Edwards, media liaison for the NPO stated that the community was simply fantastic getting on board with this operation. She said that everyone pulled together challenging other areas in the town on this beautification project.

“I’m so proud of our little town and the community,” said Sharnell.

Scottburgh Athletics Club tackled Marine Drive in Scottburgh.

“Scottburgh is beautiful and if we keep up this effort it will remain that way. Keep Scottburgh Beautiful and Umdoni Municipality can work together to win this and make it work for us all.”
