Two lives claimed in crash on N2 stretch between Murchison and Paddock
Emergency services teams attended what they described as a harrowing scene.
Two people died in a head-on collision on the N2 stretch between Murchison and Paddock last night at about 20:30 and a further two were injured.
Paramedics declared the two who were fatally injured, sadly, dead on the scene.
Glen Preston of Med-Evac said that, upon arrival, emergency services teams discovered a harrowing scene, a head-on collision involving a car and a truck.
“Paramedics assessed the situation and found (in addition to the two dead) one person who had severe injuries and another with minor injuries.”
