Temple observes Navaratri festival

The Kanya Puja (nine girls representing Mother Durga) will be observed on Sunday, October 22 at 17:00.

The Umbango Sri Siva Soobramoniar Temple warmly invites you and your family to their Maha Navaratri prayers which started last Sunday and continues until Monday, October 23.

The temple’s annual Maha Saraswathi prayer will be observed on Monday (23rd) with hawan at 18:00.

It will be followed by a special service and tying of strings by Gurukkul Mahalingam Iyer. Devotees and children can bring their school books, college books and musical instruments for prayer and blessings.
Supper and prasad will be served.

The monthly Muruga Shasti prayer will be observed on Friday, October 20 at 18:30.
