New bins for Umdoni

The municipality would also like to encourage the public to assist in achieving this goal by using these bins for their intended purpose, and subsequently help make the towns cleaner.

To aid Umdoni’s ongoing campaign to become a clean town, the municipality recently beefed up resources and acquired 40 concrete bins.

These bins have been placed in Umzinto, Park Rynie and Scottburgh as these areas according to the municipality receive a high influx of people thus making it imperative to have additional bins due to high levels of refuse.

Deputy mayor Cllr Mthandeni Mbutho and Kavershen Subben (head of Umdoni’s waste department) receive the concrete bins.

The municipality would also like to encourage the public to assist in achieving this goal by using these bins for their intended purpose, and subsequently help make the towns cleaner.
