New refuse truck for RNM

The refuse truck was bought with cash.

Ray Nkonyeni Municipality (RNM) has purchased a new refuse truck, to ensure efficient service delivery.

Deputy mayor of RNM Cllr Sbusiso Shange, Cllr Zodwa Mzindle the speaker, chief whip Teddy Hlope and municipal manager, Khetha Zulu handed over the truck to waste services head, Patrick Sithole.

Cllr Shange said the truck was bought with cash and that RNM has its own resources to do the required work.

“We will continue to purchase our own resources so that we can speed up the service delivery for our people. We will do it in a way that shows care and good management of taxpayers’ money. This will help us save money,” Shange added.
