Temple hosts Maha Mariamman prayer

A chariot will be visiting the surrounding areas of Port Shepstone on Sunday, July 16 from 09:00 for devotees to offer their prayers to Mother Sathi.

The Umbango Sri Siva Soobramaniar Temple warmly invites you and your family to their annual Maha Mariamman prayer (Porridge prayer) from Friday, July 21 to Sunday, July 23.

The temple’s chariot will be visiting the surrounding areas of Port Shepstone on Sunday, July 16 from 09:00 for devotees to offer their prayers to Mother Sathi.

Flag hoisting will commence on Friday, July 21 with hawan at 18:00 followed by bhajans in praise of the Divine Mother, Sathi.

The temple will host their annual Ganga Amman prayer on Saturday, July 22. Hawan will commence at 13:00 at the temple thereafter proceeding to My Den beach at 15:00.
The annual Maha Mariamman prayer will be held on Sunday, July 23 with hawan at 09:00 followed by bhajans.
Lunch will be served, all are welcome.

For garagum bookings, contact Kevin Govender on 083 3753876 by Wednesday, July 19. All devotees who wish to carry garagums should bring their own brass or clay pots.
