A serious motor vehicle accident occurred in Boboyi at last night at 20:40.
Lana van Zyl of Med-Evac said the accident involving four vehicles left four individuals injured and one person dead, despite resuscitation attempts.
Van Zyl said two people were left seriously injured, while another two people had minor injuries.
Med-Evac rescue’s team performed extrication, and patients were transported to hospital by paramedics from Med-Evac, Netcare 911 and EMRS.
