The Umdoni Youth Summit was held at the Premier Resort Cutty Sark Hotel recently, where like-minded youth with a common goal to become an impactful group towards the growth of the area gathered for a two-day session.
Youth structures, government departments and various other organisations touched on a number of matters with a view to making resolutions that will be utilised in advancing the youth’s vision of a youth-conscious and youth inclusive community.
The event ended on a high note with attendees leaving the summit having benefited from skills development and training, sport development and training, youth economic participation and Youth Council participation where the newly appointed Umdoni Youth Council set the tone in advancing and advocating for the rights of the Umdoni youth.
