Mardi Gras fashion show a sold out affair

Margate Mother’s Day fashion show fundraiser for Tidy Towns Shelly to Margate was a huge success recently.
Regardless of the cold and rainy weather, all the tickets were sold out.
Mrs South Africa semi-finalist, Carien Zwart, was the guest of honour and models from AfrodizzyActs Events walked the runway in trendy clothes, held at the Rondevaux building in Margate.
There were lots of prizes for the mothers and the food was supplied by the Mardi Gras vendors.
There was an electric vibe among young and old as they were entertained.
The event was hosted by Madelein Stopforth and Anneline Kriel, organisers from Margate is Magic and the Mardi Gras.
Weather permitting, the next Mardi Gras is on June 27.
