Margate Saps drug team nabs man with 250 heroin capsules

Police encourage the public to report drug dealers as SAPS Margate continues to put pressure on the drug trade.

A 22-year-old drug dealer was arrested for dealing in heroin by Margate Saps Drug Task Team at Nkampini location in Gcilima last Sunday.

Police spokesman Sergeant Sibu Ncane said that at least 250 capsules, to the value of more than R8000, were found in the man’s possession.

He appeared in the Port Shepstone Magistrate’s Court on Monday this week, and the matter was postponed for further investigation.
