Hospice welcomes donation
Volunteers are also currently needed to assist at hospice shops.
Neil McDonald from Khanya Hospice was very surprised to hear that the Behr family from Behr Necessities did an Easter fundraiser for hospice, with the help and support of the trauma department at Kingsway Hospital, Amanzimtoti.
The Behr family donated a beautiful Easter hamper, and an amount of R1 720 was handed over to Neil as a token of their kind support to hospice for the wonderful work they do in the area.
“It is wonderful to see that there are still people with good hearts,” said Neil.
Hospice is still in need of volunteers who are able to help for a few hours per week in several hospice shops. Should anyone be willing to do so, contact hospice@khanyahospice.co.za or 083 5978985.
