Pat Symcox shares insights on property market

South Coast Chamber of Commerce and Industry will be hosting Professor Tutton and Dr Imtiaz Sooliman in the coming months.

The South Coast Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) recently hosted an informative networking business morning with guest speaker, Pat Symcox, the Broker/Owner at Re/Max Coast and Country

In his address, Symcox focused on the property market on the KZN South Coast.

Globally recognised for his cricketing career and as a commentator for SuperSport and ESPN, Symcox’s motivational talks are well-known, as he has spoken at over 2000 events around the world.

Symcox shared relevant insights on how the markets in the Southern KZN Region from Scottburgh to the Wild Coast have rapidly become a destination of choice for buyers and investors, to settle into the coastal area.

He said some of the developments that has attracted locals buyers and celebrities are at Serenity Hills, Bahari Bay, Renishaw Hills and Umdoni Point.

He gave statistics which showed that property sales on the South Coast for 2022 alone reached over R2 billion.

“The South Coast is a lifestyle choice – with small towns making up the coastal region with its own little community shops, coffee shops, pubs, beautiful beaches and more.

Taking a drive down the coastline is a blissful experience. The more investors in property will attract more commercial development and more small business growth,”Symcox added.

He said he would also like to see the Margate Airport expand its operations, becoming one of the best small airports in the region.

At the next SCCI networking morning in May, Professor Anthony Turton, world-renowned water expert will be the guest speaker. The date is still to be confirmed.

On June 14, SCCI will host Dr Imtiaz Sooliman from The Gift of Givers.
