The two injured people were taken to hospital for further treatment.

One person died and two others were seriously injured in a single vehicle accident in Port Edward (near The Estuary) on Saturday evening at about 23:00.

Med-Evac, together with other emergency services, responded to the accident scene and found three people (a driver and two passengers) seriously injured. It appeared the driver had lost control.
