Cow killed, 3 people injured in crash near Hibberdene

The second vehicle crashed into the barrier trying to avoid the collision.

A vehicle collided with a cow, and a second vehicle then crashed into a barrier trying to avoid the collision, on the N2 near Hibberdene on Friday evening.

KwaZulu Private Ambulance Service responded to the collision.

Chantell Botha of KwaZulu Private Ambulance Service said that when emergency services arrived they found that the second vehicle had crashed into the barrier trying to avoid the collision.

Paramedics quickly assessed the scene and found that two people was seriously injured and a third person had minor injuries. The cow died on the scene.

The patients were transported to the hospital.
