Teen biker flung 30 metres down embankment in Port Shepstone

The biker was taken to hospital, having sustained moderate injuries.

A 19-year old man riding a motorbike was flung some 30 metres down an embankment on the R102 in Port Shepstone on Wednesday evening.

Rudi Prinsloo from Mi7 Ambulance Service said paramedics attended the scene, along with KwaZulu Private Ambulance and Saps.

“It was a single-vehicle accident. The biker was flung down an embankment just before the Mzimkhulu River bridge on the R102,” he said.

The biker had moderate injuries and was transported to Hibiscus Hospital Port Shepstone.
